Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before departure (subject to payment of a €25 fee per person per leg), after that no refund is possible. Tickets can be exchanged free of charge up to 1 hour before departure (in which case only the price difference between the original and new ticket must be paid).

* 12 April 2025 is the last departure from Brussels. The last departure from Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp is on 5 April 2025.

You can optionally book a ticket at child fare if you want a reserved seat for your baby on Thalys, Eurostar and TGV (recommended if you want to benefit from the Forfait Bambin on TGV INOUI). Reserving a seat is compulsory for journeys operated by long distance buses. Children under 4 years old travel for free and don't need a ticket if they don't require a reserved seat.

The discount cards below are accepted on our website. If you want to use a different discount card, please call the Contact Centre. Please note: you will need to show proof of entitlement during on-board inspection.

50% discount Belgium (SNCB)

If you have a reduction card giving 50% discount on the Belgian rail network (e.g. Large Families, Preferential Reimbursement or Military card), you also get 50% discount on the Belgian part of an international journey with InterCity or regional trains at Standard fare.

100% discount Belgium (SNCB)

Holders of a valid travel pass, Unlimited Season Ticket or token for free transport on the Belgian rail network (visual impaired travellers, parliament members, police in uniform etc...) do not have to pay for the Belgian part of an international journey with conventional IC or local trains.

40% discount Netherlands (NS)

Holders of some types of NS season tickets (e.g. OV-Jaarabonnement, depending on the travel time and the season ticket conditions) get 40% discount on the Dutch part of an international journey with conventional trains to/from the Netherlands.

100% discount Netherlands (NS)

Holders of a valid railpass for the Dutch rail network and holders of some types of NS season tickets (e.g. OV-Jaarabonnement, depending on the travel time and the season ticket conditions) do not pay for the Dutch part of an international journey with conventional trains to/from the Netherlands.

100% discount Luxembourg (CFL)

Holders of a valid travel pass, Network Railcard or token for free transport on the Luxembourg rail network do not have to pay for the Luxembourg part of an international journey with conventional IC or local trains.

This discount card for travellers from 12 to 27 years old offers a 30% discount on TGV and Intercités journeys in France and in Europe.

Carte Avantage Senior (SNCF)

This discount card for travellers of 60 years and over offers a 30% discount on TGV and Intercités journeys in France and in Europe.

Carte Liberté (SNCF)

The Carté Liberté is sold at the fixed price of €399 per year. This card is valid in 1st and 2nd class throughout France and offers 45% discount on the Business Première fare or 60% discount on the Seconde fare (as well as 50% discount to a maximum of 3 accompanying children).

Carte Avantage - child companion (SNCF)

Discount for maximum 3 children (4 to 11 years old) who travel together with the holder of a valid Carte Avantage.

Half-Fare Travelcard (SBB)

Discount of 50% with the Half-Fare Travelcard (SBB)

Travel update

12 January (from 10 pm) - 13 January: strike in Belgium

Update Saturday 11 January, 4h30 pm

Due to announced strike in Belgium, the rail service on the Belgian rail network will be limited from Sunday 12 January (10 pm) to Monday 13 January 2025 included.

An alternative train service has been put in place depending on the available staff. More details about this alternative service is available on www.sncb.be.

Status of international trains:

Eurostar, TGV INOUI, ICE and OUIGO Brussels-Paris: all trains will be running as scheduled.
Eurocity Direct (Brussels-Amsterdam): in each direction, 14 trains out of 16 will be running.
EuroCity (Brussels-Rotterdam) : 10 trains out of 16 will be running from Brussels to Rotterdam / 9 trains out of 16 will be running back from Rotterdam to Brussels.
Nightjet : the train from Vienna and Berlin of Sunday 12/01 will terminate in Cologne. The train to Vienna and Berlijn of Monday 13/01 will depart from Cologne. Between Cologne and Brussels/Liège, passengers can use ICE trains.
Regional cross-border trains: 30% of trains running on the Liège-Maastricht and Arlon-Luxembourg services, 25% running on the Charleroi-Maubeuge service. No trains on the Kortrijk-Lille, Tournai-Lille, Antwerp-Roosendaal, Liège-Aachen and Liège-Luxembourg services. More details on www.sncb.be.

If you have a ticket for travel on 13 January between Belgium and the Netherlands on the EuroCity or Eurocity Direct (or on regional trains to/from Maastricht or Roosendaal), please note that:

if your train is cancelled, even Saver tickets are exceptionally valid on any other EuroCity or Eurocity Direct train of the day.
your ticket is valid from Sunday 12/01 to Tuesday 14/01, allowing you to anticipate or postpone your journey if necessary. This is also valid for Saver tickets for Sunday 12 January that are only valid on a train after 5 pm.
if you prefer not to travel, your ticket for 13/01 is fully refundable.
