Due to a landslide between St-Jean de Maurienne and Modane, direct train connections between Paris, Lyon and Italy have been suspended since August 2023 for an indefinite period.

25 and 26 May: Intercity Netherlands trains will terminate in Rotterdam.

Due to planned engineering works, the InterCity Netherlands trains (Brussels-Amsterdam) will terminate in Rotterdam on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May 2024.

Passengers to Schiphol-Airport and Amsterdam can change trains in Breda or Rotterdam and use NS trains (Dutch Railways) to their final destination with their current ticket.

In the opposite direction, passengers from Amsterdam Central and Schiphol-Airport can use other trains to Rotterdam or Breda, where they can board on the Intercity train to Brussels.

29/05 - 02/06: ICE trains Brussels-Frankfurt only operating between Brussels and Cologne.

Due to planned engineering works on the German rail network, ICE trains that connect Brussels, Cologne and Frankfurt will only operate between Brussels and Cologne (Köln Hbf) from Wednesday 29 May to Sunday 2 June 2024 inclusive.

Passengers to/from Frankfurt can change trains in Cologne.

15 - 16 June: IC Netherlands diverted via Roosendaal and not serving Breda.

Due to planned engineering works, the Intercity Netherlands (Brussels-Amsterdam) trains will be diverted via Roosendaal on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June 2024, resulting in longer journey times. Another consequence is that the stations Noorderkempen en Breda will not be served.

Passengers to/from Breda can change trains in Roosendaal and use local trains to/from Breda.

Besides, replacement buses will connect Antwerpen-CentraalNoorderkempen and Breda

Passengers from Breda to Belgium can use NS trains to Roosendaal, where they can embark on the Intercity train to Brussels.

29 June: Intercity Netherlands trains will terminate in Rotterdam.

30 June: IC Netherlands will not operate between Breda and Amsterdam.

Due to planned engineering works on the Dutch rail network on Sunday 30 June 2024, InterCity Netherlands trains (Brussels-Amsterdam) will be running between Brussels and Breda only.

Passengers to Rotterdam, Schiphol-Airport and Amsterdam can change trains in Breda and make use of other NS (Dutch railway) operated trains from Breda. This applies in the opposite direction as well, for travelling from the Netherlands to Belgium.

1 July: Intercity Netherlands trains will terminate in Rotterdam.

Due to planned engineering works, the InterCity Netherlands trains (Brussels-Amsterdam) will terminate in Rotterdam on Monday 1 July 2024.

Passengers to Schiphol-Airport and Amsterdam can change trains in Breda or Rotterdam and use NS trains (Dutch Railways) to their final destination with their current ticket.

In the opposite direction, passengers from Amsterdam Central and Schiphol-Airport can use other trains to Rotterdam or Breda, where they can board on the Intercity train to Brussels.

6 - 7 July: InterCity Netherlands trains will not service Antwerpen-Centraal.

Due to planned infrastructure works on the Belgian network, IC Netherlands trains will be diverted around Antwerp and will not service Anwerpen-Centraal on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July. 

If you are traveling to or from Antwerp, you can hop on or off at Antwerpen-Berchem, from where you will have connections to Antwerp-Centraal.
